Photo Caption: On a sunny warm Sunday, Parkdale Park was filled with volunteers etc. organizing a Free BBQ funded by local Member of Parliament (Catherine McKenna). A number of local businesses also provided various goodies.
Photo Caption: Dovercourt lent the effort a second gas BBQ (and set up their tent near to the live music stage). [ Ed: One of the other goals of the BBQ was a school supply drive to collect supplies for schoolkids in need, but it was not mentioned in the publicity handouts so most people were unaware.
